The Georgia State Patrol has identified the individuals involved in Saturday afternoon's deadly car accident in Hall County.

Gainesville resident Travion Jymere Cockfield, 19, was killed in the collision on Candler Road, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident happened around 2:30 p.m.

State Patrol Sergeant Charles Parker said Cockfield was driving his Ford Focus northbound just north of Poplar Springs Road when it crossed the center line in a curve and struck a GMC pickup truck head-on.

The driver of the truck, Ricardo Rodriguez, 36, suffered minor injuries, but his front-seat passenger suffered serious injuries. Two children who were also in the back seat of the truck were flown to a local hospital and listed in serious condition.

The identities of Rodriguez's three passenger have not been released.
