It was a blazing hot day with blazing hot action on Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway, and our Hard Left Turn crew brings you all the cool news this week.

On this week's podcast, Brandon Reed, Pete McCole and Amy Henderson has a look at the action out of the Lone Star State, including:

-A well timed caution and a two-tire gamble put Austin Dillon in position to score the win in Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas.

-Meanwhile, Tyler Reddick continues to impress with a second place finish.  Can a win be far behind?

-It was hot - very hot - in Fort Worth on Sunday.  How did that affect the action?

-Ryan Blaney was in position to win again - and again bad luck took that chance away.

-It was also not the best day for several drivers who had expected to play a role in the finish.

Plus, we have a look at Thursday night's NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway - and why the heck are we running the NCS on a Thursday night anyway?

WDUN will have live MRN Radio coverage of Thursday night's NASCAR Cup Series Super Start Batteries 400 from Kansas Speedway beginning at 6:30 pm on 102.9 FM, AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN.
