A death investigation is underway after an Uber driver making a delivery to a home in northern Forsyth County found the body of the customer.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Stacie Miller said deputies were called to a home on Church Road around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7.
Once they arrived, the found the body of Marshall Tallant, 66. The Uber driver reported he had gone to the home to deliver food.
"There is no evidence of foul play," Miller said in an email statement. "Mr. Tallant was transported to the GBI Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to be performed at a later date."
Miller said the investigation is ongoing.
