Two Dawsonville men charged in Hoschton shooting

A shooting in Hoschton earlier in the week leaves two people now behind bars.

At 9:46 p.m. last Monday a 9-1-1 caller on Tapp Wood Rd. said that two people had pulled into his drive, started banging on the door and then began to damage his truck. They also shot into the home approximately 10-15 times.

Later in the week, investigators arrested Henry McCoy Sullens, 33 of Dawsonville and Cody Columbus Caudell, 27, also of Dawsonville.

According to a post on the Jackson County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, both are now in the Jackson County jail.

Sullens has been charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property, 1st degree, and party to the crime of criminal damage to property, 2nd degree. Caudell is charged with party to the crime of aggravated assault, party to the crime of criminal damage to property, 1st degree, and criminal damage to property, 2nd degree.

Sullens and Caudell, both from Dawsonville, have been charged with shootings in Hoschton.
