The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit played a significant role in locating the suspect of arson to an Atlanta Wendy’s restaurant.

According to a social media post from the office, deputies were able to assist in the investigation and located Natalie White this week. White has been at the center of an investigation by the City of Atlanta Fire Rescue Department following the burning of a Wendy’s restaurant after the shooting of Rayshard Brooks.

Gwinnett County Sheriff’s deputies located White at a building in Fulton County and alerted the US Marshals, whose team included members of the Fulton County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Unit. The team was then able to quickly move in and arrest White.

“Good things happen when great law enforcement officers coordinate their efforts and work together to apprehend dangerous suspects who pose a threat to our communities,” the post reads.

The Sheriff’s Office also commended the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshals Service and City of Atlanta Fire Rescue for their efforts.
