James J. Kilroy, the president of Willis Investment Counsel, has been elected to the board of directors at Nashville-based Healthcare Realty, a leading healthcare real estate investment trust.
Healthcare Realty, founded in 1993, focuses on owning, managing, acquiring and developing outpatient medical facilities throughout the United States. Kilroy began his career at Healthcare Realty 25 years ago.
“The company’s founder was a mentor in my career, allowing me the opportunity to follow the company’s progress over the past three decades,” Kilroy said. “I am honored and humbled to serve as a board member of Healthcare Realty and look forward to working with a company that has meant so much to me over the years.”
As president at Willis, Kilroy has responsibility in the areas of strategy, client relations, firm operations, and portfolio management. He's also active in the community, where he's a board member of the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and Elachee Nature Science Center, where he serves on the investment committee.
Founded in 1979, Willis Investment Counsel, located in Gainesville, manages over $2 billion in assets for institutional and private wealth clients.
