With strict health protocols in place, the Gwinnett County Public Library will reopen all branches to the public on Monday, June 22, 2020.

Library facilities have remained closed during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and curbside service will continue to be available for patrons who are uncomfortable visiting the buildings.

According to a post on the system's website, hours of operations for each branch will be Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Curbside hours are the same.

Social distancing measures will be in place, and some furniture will be taped off to prevent visitors from sitting too close to one another. Some computers will be unavailable for use; computer sessions will be limited to one hour.

Learning labs, meeting rooms and quiet rooms will all remain closed for now.

Staff will wear masks and gloves to prevent the spread of germs, and visitors are urged to wears masks, as well.
