Zack Mitchell scores Ultimate SLM victory at Lancaster

LANCASTER, S.C. - Zack Mitchell scored a home state victory in Ultimate Super Late Model Series action on Saturday night at South Carolina’s Lancaster Motor Speedway.

The Enoree, South Carolina native edged out Michael Brown by 0.010 seconds at the finish line to win the 40-lap feature at the half-mile dirt raceway.

It marks the sixth career victory for Mitchell, who took home a $4,000 payday as a result.

Trent Ivey finished in third, with Donald Bradsher in fourth and Adam Yarbrough in fifth.

Anthony Sanders, Jeff Smith, Doug Sanders, Daniel Baggerly and Ricky Weeks rounded out the top 10.
