Lake Lanier Corp of Engineer Parks are opening just in time for Memorial Day weekend. Beginning May 23, all Day Use Parks, with the exception of Buford Dam Park, will reopen for the public to use. While restrooms will be open, other amenities will remain closed for the time being. According to the Army Corp of Engineer's Facebook page, beaches, shelters, playgrounds and campgrounds will remain closed.
The US Army Corps of Engineers reminds everyone to practice social distancing and to avoid crowded parks and facilities.
