Two men were killed Thursday night in an apparent double homicide in unincorporated Lawrenceville.
Cpl. Michele Pihera with the Gwinnett County Police Department said officers were called to the scene just after 8 p.m.
"Officers assigned to the Central Precinct were dispatched to a 'person shot' call on Racquet Club Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville," Pihera wrote in a press statement. "When officers arrived, they found two Asian males deceased from gunshot wounds. The victims were found in the lower level of the split-foyer home."
Pihera said the 911 call came from a friend of one the victims; the caller had just returned to the home after leaving the house temporarily.
At this point, the names of the victims are being withheld.
There is no word yet on a motive or on possible suspects.
