Missing Gainesville teen returns home

UPDATE: The Hall County Sheriff's Office said detectives were notified Thursday, April 16 that Lauren White had returned home safely. They did not say where she had been.

ORIGINAL STORY: Tuesday, April 14, 6 p.m. 

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help locating a Gainesville teenager who has been missing for several days.

Lauren Brooke White, 15, was last seen on April 10 in the area of Timber Ridge Road. According to social media posts from the Sheriff's Office, White was last seen around 3 a.m.

White stands 5'11" and weighs roughly 160 pounds. She has blonde hair and brown eyes.

The Sheriff's Office says White may be somewhere in Gainesville, Oakwood or the Friendship Road area.
