Claude Parks Road in northern Hall County has been fully reopened to traffic.
A stretch of the roadway was closed earlier this year after being damaged by heavy rains and flooding, but a media release sent out by the county early Wednesday evening said the road was reopened after structural repairs were completed ahead of schedule.
"Thanks to the hard work of our on-call contractor, Griffin Brothers, along with a stretch of good weather, this project was completed well ahead of schedule," said Kevin McInturff, Hall County Engineer.
The release said all barriers were removed on Thursday.
