For the second time in a month, the same pickup has been stolen from a house on Holiday Road near the Hall/Gwnnett county line.

According to a posting on the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, “Hall County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking (for the public) to take a look at this stolen Ford pickup truck. If it looks familiar, that’s because we posted a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) when it was stolen in February.”

Since that time, investigators had recovered it and returned it to its owner but about a week ago, the truck was stolen again from the Holiday Road residence.

“Our investigators were notified on Wednesday, Feb. 5, about the pickup truck’s recovery,” sheriff’s department spokesman Derreck Booth wrote in an email earlier this week.  “The Gwinnett County Police Department located it, but I don’t have information about where they found it.  There were no arrests and no suspects identified through the recovery.”

On Thursday, Booth said an updated photo had been posted on Facebook depicting a suspect in the case. "Investigators received surveillance stills of a suspect in the stolen truck case...We know they’re 'grainy' photos but hope someone recognizes him. He was spotted in the area reflected in the map."

The latest theft occurred March 15 around 4:00 a.m. “Two of the unique features of the pickup are the aftermarket front bumper and skid plate under the front end,” the Facebook posting reads.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the truck or the thief or thieves who stole it should call Investigator Atkins at (770) 533-7728.
