One week after the discovery of a body in Lake Lanier, Gainesville Police Department investigators have publicly identified the woman as Meredith Gray of Lula.
Police said they still do not have autopsy results, so they are unsure of Gray's cause of death. Gray was 48 years old, according to police.
Gray's body was discovered the evening of Wednesday, March 11 in the lake near the end of Dixon Drive.
