IMSA 12 Hours of Sebring postponed due to travel ban

The upcoming 12 Hours of Sebring, one of the premier Sports Car endurance races in the county, has been postponed to November, according to a statement from IMSA.

The race, originally slated for March 18-21 at Florida’s Sebring International Raceway,

“The postponement is due to the recent United States ban on travel from Europe, which will prevent a number of drivers, teams and key personnel from participation,” the statement reads.

That will move the 12 hour endurance race to the final event of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Series season, along with other events that were slated for the Sebring race weekend.

Next weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring has been postponed to November due to the European travel ban announced on Wednesday night, according to IMSA Management.
