GAINESVILLE — After a tight first half with a single goal by Austin Godoy, the floodgates opened after halftime en route to a 4-2 win over Lumpkin County at The Brickyard at Lynn Cottrell Stadium on Wednesday.

The Trojans (3-5, 1-0 Region 7-3A) struck for three goals in the first twelve minutes with two coming off the foot of Landon Avalos and one by Edwin Sanchez.

Lumpkin County (2-8, 0-3 Region 7-3A) stayed in the game though with a pair of goals by Dylan Bodney and Dylan Southin, but North Hall closed the final fifteen minutes out to pick up the victory.

The Trojans return to action on Tuesday at Cherokee Bluff.
