A Buford warehouse used to store clothing was damaged by fire early Thursday morning, but investigators are not sure yet how the fire started.

A media statement from the Gwinnett County Fire Department said firefighters arrived just after 2:30 a.m. to ML Fashions at 2713 Faithful Industrial Drive and discovered smoke coming from the roof of the building.

Fire crews used foam to prevent fire damage from spreading to a large amount of clothing stored inside the warehouse. The entire contents of the building sustained heavy smoke damage, but fire damage was confined to the right side of the building, according to an initial assessment of the scene.

No one was injured.

The fire was brought under control at 4:12 a.m.
