Soccer: No. 1 Johnson stays unbeaten; EHall boys get 1st win; North Hall sweeps at home

CUMMING — The Class 5A No. 1-ranked Johnson boys soccer team remained unbeaten on the season after a 3-1 win over Pinecrest Academy Tuesday on the road.

The Knights (6-0) got a pair of goals from Jorge Santosand one from Alex Arellano.

Johnson next will travel to Eastside on Friday.


NORTH HALL GIRLS 4,
FRANKLIN COUNTY 0

Goals by Paola Alvarez, Tifhanny Hernandez, and Lydia Lewis, plus a Franklin County own goal, helped power the Lady Trojans (2-3) to a shutout victory Tuesday night at Lynn Cottrell Stadium.

Alex Sayer recored the win in goal for North Hall, which has won two of its last three matches.

They will be back in action at home Friday against Buford.


NORTH HALL BOYS 3,
FRANKLIN COUNTY 0

The North Hall boys also won their second match in three tries with a win at home.

Cade Shelton scored goals in each half to lead the Trojans (2-4). Edwin Sanchez added a late goal and Fredys Saravia was perfect in goal.

The Trojans next will travel to Buford on Friday.


EAST HALL BOYS 5,
LUMPKIN COUNTY 1

East Hall got its win of the season in their Region 7-3A opener in Dahlonega.

Daniel Rodriguez, Averen Samuel, Justin Silva, Cesar Rios, and Angel Perez all got goals for the Vikings (1-4, 1-0 Region 7-3A).

The Vikings will travel to Riverside Military Academy on Friday.
