BUFORD — The Buford boys and girls tennis teams swept North Hall on a cool afternoon at Buford City Park on Wednesday.
The Lady Wolves beat North Hall 4-1, while the boys team stroked a shutout against the Trojans, 5-0.
On the boys side, Buford's Brady Todd beat Ethan Surles, 6-0, 6-1. James Troutt won in straight sets against North Hall's Kody Dills, 6-1, 6-1, and
Leyton Grothe bested Jon Eider, 6-0, 6-3.
In doubles action, Zac Harms and Matthew Maurer beat North Hall's Forrester Terry and Javeson Rousch, 7-5, 6-1, and Buford's Brent Sherman and Luke Clark knocked off Wate Marshal and Stephen Sartain, 6-0, 6-1.
For the girls, Buford's Alex Mann beat Anna Montgomery, 6-0, 6-1, Callie Perkins won over North Hall's Baylee Turner, 6-1, 6-3, and Buford's Izzy Brewer beat Gabbie Jenkins, 6-3, 6-4.
North Hall's No. 1 doubles team of Ella Oxley and Raquel Kallab picked up the Lady Trojans only win of the day, 11-9 in the tiebreaker game. Buford's Kennedy Deloach and Taylor Ryzcek, No. 2 doubles team beat Carson Baumgardner and Lanier White, 6-3, 6-4.

The Falcons pulled off a close decision on the road on Wednesday.
Flowery Branch's No. 1 singles player Drayton Matus defeated Nick Beck 6-2, 1-6, (11-9), Jack Thomas beat Jack Anderson, 6-3, 6-1, and No. 1 doubles team of Gunnar Hetzel and Caden Caldwell retired Palmer Beck and Kevin Zhen, 4-6, 6-4 (10-8).
