The rising level of Lake Lanier has prompted the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to close 18 boat ramps around the lake.

Rain and snow from last week - along with additional rainfall this week - has pushed the level of Lanier to 1075.55 (as of 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12). Full pool is 1071.

Boat ramps at the following locations are underwater and are inaccessible, according to Corps' officials. The ramps will be closed until further notice.
