Gwinnett County Police Department investigators are trying to piece together details in a deadly shooting that happened Wednesday night outside a gas station on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth.
Police said they received a call around 10 p.m. about a person being shot at the Shell Gas Station at 1515 Pleasant Hill Road, but when they arrived at the scene, there was no victim to be found.
As officers canvassed the area, they discovered the male victim dead inside a vehicle at an apartment complex at 3740 Club Drive. Officers said it appeared the car was damaged from a possible accident.
After notifying the victim's relatives, police publicly identified the man as Jamun El Winslow, 20, of Lawrenceville.
No suspects have been identified at this point in the investigation.
