East Avenue in Gainesville will be closed again this week and water service will be interrupted in the West Avenue area Monday.
Officials with the city's Water Resources Department say East Avenue will be closed Monday-Thursday from the Jesse Jewell Parkway intersection to the Parker Street intersection, weather permitting.
Water service, meanwhile, will be interrupted Monday, 9:00-4:00, on West Avenue between Jewell and Comer Street, including Comer Street, Rosecliff Terrace, and Broad Street Place.
