BUFORD — The Buford High School gymnastics team beat Cambridge 113.6 – 110.25 to win the four-team meet at the Gymnastix Training Center on Saturday.
Etowah turned in a 105.1 team score, good enough for third place, followed by North Oconee with 98.9.
Cyrena Whalen led the Gym Wolves with first-place finishes in the vault, bars, floor and all-around events. Marisa Ashton captured the top spot in the beam event.
Ashton also finished third in the vault and second in floor and all-around. Jewel Clark was second in the vault.
