Hall County’s administrative offices, libraries, courts, recycling center and community centers will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. The landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but will be open on Friday, according to information released by the county this week. Compactor sites will remain open throughout Thursday and Friday.
The Hall County Animal Shelter will be closed Nov. 26 and Nov. 27 but will reopen Saturday, Nov. 28.
Essential public safety and public works personnel will continue service as usual during the holiday.
Many county services are available online, including the renewal of vehicle tags, payment of taxes and more.
