The Forsyth County Fire Department is sponsoring its eighteenth annual Aerial House toy collection beginning Monday.

From Nov. 9 through Dec. 11, new and unwrapped toys for children between newborn age and 18 years old may be dropped off in a contactless collection bin at any Forsyth County fire station or the Fire Department Headquarters. In December, donations may also be dropped off in the lobby of the Forsyth County Administration Building.

In addition to toys, new or gently used coats for children and adults may be donated.

“The Fire Department is honored to continue a wonderful initiative that brings joy to children and families during such a special time of the year,” said Forsyth County Fire Division Chief Jason Shivers in a statement Thursday. “We appreciate the community’s support for this program even in a season that looks a little different.”

For more information on the initiative, contact The Place of Forsyth County at 770-887-1098. For additional questions regarding donations, contact Firefighter Jeff Lyons at 770-549-3491.
