The Banks County Sheriff’s Office continues its investigation into a strong-arm robbery that occurred Tuesday at RaceTrac Convenience Store on Ga. 15/U.S. 441 at Banks Crossing.

During that robbery, a black male in a purple Lakers jersey watched a woman withdraw money from an automated teller machine, then walked out in front of her, snatched her purse, and dragged the victim across the parking lot as she held on to the purse, according to the sheriff’s office.

Surveillance photos show a white female in a black shirt and a black male in a red shirt with the suspect inside the store.

The suspect was believed to be picked up by accomplices on the side of Interstate 85, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information about the individuals involved in the incident is asked to contact Investigator Cary Way at [email protected] or by phone at (706) 677-2248 or (706) 621-2335.

Banks County sheriff's investigators hope the public can help them identify and locate the individuals pictured for their alleged involvement in an Oct. 26 strong-arm robbery at RaceTrac Convenience Store at Banks Crossing.
