Area teams continue putting up some pretty impressive numbers, both offensively and defensively, through Week 8 of the high school football season.

Rabun County's offense continues to lead the area, but Jefferson has jumped two spots to take over second place, while Cherokee Bluff drops to third and East Hall jumps over Buford.

Defensively, Bluff, Buford, and now, Jefferson have held their opponents under 10 points per game on average.

Forfeit scores like 1-0, etc. are not factored into average. Only games actually played. Stats compiled by Caleb Hutchins
