TIGER — Reports of snow in Rabun County on Friday morning and afternoon has forced the cancellation of high school basketball games Friday night.
Rabun County was supposed to play host to Putnam County in the regular season finale for both schools. But Putnam County asked that the games be moved to Saturday because of the weather.
The girls game between the Lady Wildcats and the Lady War Eagles is for the region title and No. 1 seed in the upcoming Region 8-2A Tournament.
As of now, tip off is still scheduled for 3 p.m. on Saturday for the girls game with the boys to follow.
