FLOWERY BRANCH — The Lanier Christian Academy girls held Old Suwanee Christian Academy to just 8 first half points en route to a 48-25 win Monday night at home.
LCA (14-4) opened the game with a 13-3 first quarter and then continue to bow things open outscoring Old Suwanee 14-5 in the second quarter for a 27-8 halftime lead.
Old Suwanee closed the gap to a 35-19 heading into the fourth quarter but could get no closer.
Faith Wasden led LCA with 12 points and Reece Montgomery had 8 points. Lexie Robertson added 7 points and Hollie Buessee and Tori Wandrum each had 6 points for the Lady Lightning.
LCA will be back in action on Tuesday playing host to Killian Hills Christian Academy.
