For the March and May primaries, Hall County voters will have more options when it comes to casting advance ballots.

The Hall County Board of Elections and Registration voted at its latest meeting to expand the number of early-voting locations as well as extending the hours for early voting.

"Early voting is typically held for three weeks leading up to an election at the Hall County Government Center," Hall County Elections Director Lori Wurtz said. "For the upcoming March and May primaries, voters can also vote early at the North Hall Community Center, the East Hall Community Center and Spout Springs Library during the third and final week of early voting from 7a.m. to 7 p.m."

The three locations have been used in the past for Saturday voting.

Early voting for the March 24, 2020 presidential preference primary will begin on Monday, March 2 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hall County Government Center and will continue through Friday, March 20.

On Saturday, March 14, polls will open at the North Hall Community Center, East Hall Community Center, Spout Springs Library and the Hall County Government Center as a part of statewide Saturday early voting. Hours for the mandatory Saturday early voting have also been expanded and will now be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

"We hope these additional locations and extended hours serve as a convenience to our voters and provide ample opportunity for them to cast their vote," said Wurtz.
