Jackson County Sheriff’s office is looking for a man in connection with stolen goods. On Thursday, police received a call about traffic at an abandoned property in Hoschton. They found the residence had been broken into.

A female was still inside, but a man fled on foot. Upon searching the property, police recovered stolen goods that had been taken from a nearby residence. Brittany Dempsey, age 28, of Covington, GA, was arrested.

The Sheriff’s office is now asking for any help locating the man, Nicholas Dempsey, of Hoschton. He has outstanding warrants for Burglary, three counts of Entering Auto, Felony Theft by Receiving, Loitering or Prowling and has a warrant out of White County for Theft by Deception.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Jackson County Sheriff’s department.
