Jess Helton Road will be closed for about a month beginning Monday, Jan. 20, as crews work to replace a pipe near its intersection with Helton Road.
"The older metal pipe has exceeded its lifespan, and due to excessive deterioration, must be replaced," said Hall County Engineer Kevin McInturff.
Traffic will be rerouted to Odum Smallwood, Jim Hood and Helton roads for the duration of the closure. Road closure and detour signs will also be utilized to direct motorists.
