A Flowery Branch teenager, missing for more than a week, has been found in Atlanta but there was no immediate word on her condition.
"(Nothing) further at this time. We will update you as information becomes available," Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman Gregory Cochran wrote in an email Saturday afternoon. Cochran did say Jordan Faith Strickland, 15, was found by Atlanta police.
Just Friday night, the sheriff's department had issued a new alert for Strickland, along with a picture of her and an unknown man. The pair had been spotted the night of Dec. 26 at a convenience store at Georgia Highways 211 and 124. The picture was taken from a surveillance tape at the store.
At the time, spokesman Derreck Booth said anyone with any information on the man or the car in the picture, should contact Investigator Ayers at (470) 623-0299.
Strickland was reported missing from her home in the Mulberry Preserve/Elizabeth Lane area Christmas night.
