A 92-year-old Cleveland man will likely face charges in a deadly crash that happened Sunday afternoon on Alt. 75, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Cpl. Joshua Hedden said troopers responded to the fatal accident just after 12:45 p.m.
Hedden said a 1994 Honda Accord being driven by George Lee Watson was traveling southbound on the highway when he attempted to make a left turn onto John Head Road.
Watson collided head on with a Suzuki motorcycle being operated by Larry James Robinson, 65, of Dahlonega. Another motorcycle, a Yamaha RD 400, was traveling directly behind the Suzuki and attempted to avoid the crash, turning over on its side.
Robinson was killed in the crash.
The operator of the Yamaha, identified as Joshua Charles Robinson, 31, of Dahlonega, sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle, according to Hedden.
Watson was not injured.
