Redmon named Water Conservation Specialist for City of Gainesville

Kristen Redmon, the City of Gainesville's current Main Street Manager,  has been named Water Conservation Specialist for the city's Department of Water Resources.

Kristen began her career with the City in 2016 as the Water Conservation Specialist before taking the Main Street Manager’s position in the Communication and Tourism Office in 2017.  “I am looking forward to going back to the Department of Water Resources. I have a true passion for conservation and leading others in being good stewards of our natural resources.” 

Linda MacGregor, Director of Water Resources stated “We are happy to have Kristen back in the water conservation role.  She is a great asset to the city. Her enthusiasm for Gainesville includes downtown, the environment, and water conservation.”
