Week 5 went off without a hitch last week and several athletes across the region turned in top performances.
Union County quarterback Pierson Allison was tops in the passing game, compiling 26-of-36 for 490 yards and four touchdowns. White County's J Ben Haynes was the top dual-threat with 214 yards passing and 113 yards rushing, and Cooper Turner hauled in the most yards with 143.
Friday Game Night Top Performers:
-- Jackson Clouatre's 104 yards helped Habersham Central beat Stephens County for the first time since 1996, 27-20.
-- Buford's Elijah Turner ran for 128 yards in Buford's win over Newton County.
-- Malaki Starks rushed for 72 yards and caught another 80 and three touchdowns in Jefferson's 41-7 win against Gainesville.
-- White County's J Ben Haynes rushed for 113 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 214 yards and a score in the Warriors' 34-31 win over North Hall.
-- Cooper Turner hauled in nine passes for 143 yards and a score in White County's win over North Hall.
-- North Hall's JT Fair rushed for 129 yards on 12 carries for two touchdowns in the loss to White County.
