BUFORD — Senior Anabel Adams' solo home run in the sixth inning was a fitting ending to Senior Night at the Buford Softball Complex.
Adams' homer pushed the lead to eight runs which forced the run-rule in an 11-3 win over Clarke Central.
Senior Amelia Veal (6-0) earned the win in the pitcher's circle, allowing four hits, three runs (two earned), five strikeouts and two walks in six innings of work.
Senior Kennedi Bauman was 2-for-3 and drove in three runs to lead the Wolves at the plate Tuesday. Junior Abbi Perkins was 2-for-4 with a triple, a double and two RBIs.
Senior Ansleigh Hollifield turned in a 2-for-3 batting performance with a double and one RBI.
Buford (14-9, 4-1 in Region 8-5A) will travel to Walnut Grove on Thursday at 6 p.m. The game will decide the regular-season champion.

East Hall (18-6, 11-0) exploded for 10 runs en route to a 10-1 Region 7-3A win over Cherokee Bluff Tuesday.
The Vikings notched five runs in the third inning off hits from Gracie Smith, Gracie Ausborn, Macy Banks and Calli Hardison.
Banks earned the win in the circle, allowing five hits and one run over five innings and striking out seven.
