Chad Puckett was dominant en route to the win in Saturday night’s Modified Street feature at Georgia’s Winder-Barrow Speedway.
Puckett ran largely unchallenged to the victory at the ¼-mile clay raceway.
Aaron Criswell brought the field to the green flag under threatening skies, but it was Puckett moving to the lead.
After a quick caution, the race resumed with Puckett again assuming the lead, with Criswell in pursuit. Behind them, Jordan Poole and Arti Ridgeway battled back and forth for third.
Up front, Puckett checked out on the field. With there being no other cautions, Puckett powered to a six second advantage by the time he drove under the checkered flag for the victory.
Criswell finished in second, followed by Poole in third, Ridgeway in fourth and Gordon Welch in fifth.
Shortly after the end of the feature, the skies opened up over the raceway, washing out the rest of the racing program for the night.
Winder-Barrow Speedway returns to action on Saturday, September 21. Check WinderBarrowSpeedway.com for more information.
