If there were any doubters going into the Playoffs in Martin Truex, Jr.'s chances of advancing, he put them to rest with a big win on Sunday night at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

On this week's edition of the Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed, Pete McCole and Amy Henderson review Sunday's South Point 400 and the NASCAR Cup Playoff opener, including:

-Martin Truex, Jr. passes Kevin Harvick with 20 laps to go, and goes on to win at Las Vegas, locking himself into the Round of 12 in the process.

-While they didn't win, Team Penske may have been "best in show" overall as an organization.

-Ryan Newman now finds himself six points out of the Round of 12 after a solid showing on Sunday night while others faltered.

-We remember NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour legend Mike Stefanik, who lost his life in a small plane crash on Sunday.

-We preview the NASCAR race weekend at Richmond Raceway.

WDUN will carry live MRN Radio coverage of Saturday night's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Federated Auto Parts 400 beginning at 6:30 pm on 102.9 FM, AM 550 and streaming live on AccessWDUN.
