Barrow County S.O. seeks driver who left serious-injury wreck

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the vehicle and driver that left the scene of a serious-injury crash on Ga. 316 just west of Barber Creek Road about 4:30 a.m. Sunday.

When deputies arrived on scene it was determined that a black Jeep Cherokee was struck in the rear, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree, a social media post from BCSO states.

The vehicle that struck the Jeep left the scene traveling westbound and is described as a 1997 to 2003 red Ford F-150 pickup truck, and it will be missing the grill and the front passenger headlight. It also may have damage to the front passenger side fender.

Anyone who may have seen this accident or who may have information is asked to contact Investigator J.D. Gann at (770) 307-7669.
