Saturday night marked the third time that Jonathan Davenport had won the world.
The Blairsville, Georgia speedster topped a strong field of competitors to record his third career victory in the 49th annual World 100 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Davenport previously scored victories in 2015 and 2017 in the event at the half-mile dirt raceway.
John Blankenship and Bobby Pierce brought the field to the green flag, with Pierce taking the early lead.
After battling back and forth with Pierce through the race, Davenport took the lead for good on lap 68 with Ricky Weiss in tow.
Davenport then held off all challenges en route to the victory.
Jimmy Owens finished in second, with Weiss in third, Stormy Scott in fourth and Chris Madden in fifth.
Scott Bloomquist, Chad Simpson, Dale McDowell, Tim McCreadie and Shanon Buckingham rounded out the top ten.
