Gainesville Police continue to search for two men thought to be involved in a armed robbery and stabbing Thursday in the Lenox area of the city.

The two black males reportedly entered an apartment at Lenox Park Place to steal electronics and money, according to a press release from Gainesville Police on Friday. The victims were in the apartment when the front door was unlocked and opened.

When the suspects noticed the victims were home, they allegedly struck them multiple times with their hands and one of the suspects stabbed a victim in the arm with a knife. That victim was taken to the hospital for treatment and has since been released. The other suspect carried a handgun, but it was not discharged.

The pair fled on foot with the electronics and money. They are described as two black males, both around 20 years of age and weighing 160 pounds. The suspect with the handgun wore a blue hoodie, red gloves and a black bandana over his face; the suspect with the knife wore a black hoodie, black shorts and black gloves.

Gainesville Police urged anyone with information about the suspects whereabouts or the incident to contact 9-1-1.
