Trimble wins Tyler Co., Ferguson takes FASTRAK Rumble

Brent Trimble and Carson Ferguson both won big in the FASTRAK Racing Series East Coast Rumble over the weekend.

Trimble swept the series weekend visit to Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, West Virginia, while Ferguson won at West Virginia’s Princeton Speedway on Friday and took the East Coast Rumble Championship.

On Friday night, Carson Ferguson started second, but jumped to the early lead at Princeton Speedway.

From there, the Charlotte, North Carolina driver led flag-to-flag en route to the win and the $2,000 payday.

Eddie Hambrick came home in second, with Nick Schlager in third, Tyler Cox in fourth and Henry Hornsby in fifth.

On Saturday night, the tour traveled to Tyler County Speedway, where Morganton, West Virginia native Brent Trimble earned the $2,000 victory.

Kyle Lukon, Tyler Carpenter, T.J. Salango, and David Pangrazio rounded out the top five.

On Sunday, Trimble scored his second straight victory at Tyler County, wrapping up the East Coast Rumble with another $2,000 win.

Ferguson finished in second, giving him the Rumble title.

Michael Duritsky came home in third, followed by Logan Roberson in fourth and Donnie Dotson in fifth.

The FASTRAK Racing Series will return to action on September 13-14 for the 16th Annual World Championship at Virginia Motor Speedway located in Jamaica, Virginia, paying $50,000 to win.
