An elderly metro-Atlanta pastor who adopted 19 children during missionary work in the Philippines now faces charges of child molestation.
Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Cpl. Doug Rainwater confirms the arrest of 80 year old Benjamin "Gus" August Harter Friday and said he's being held without bond.
Harter pastors the Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church in Sandy Springs according to the AJC and previously led the Bethany Primitive Baptist Church in Suwanee.
No other details about the allegations are available and the investigation continues.
