PODCAST: Hard Left Turn - Jones takes Southern 500 victory

With a lot on the line in regards to his future, Erik Jones outran the competition to win the biggest race of his career in Sunday night's Southern 500.

On this week's edition of the Hard Left Turn podcast, Brandon Reed, Pete McCole and Amy Henderson review all the goings on from Darlington Raceway's "Throwback Weekend," including:

-With questions in the air about his future at Joe Gibbs Racing, Erik Jones made a statement by beating his teammate, Kyle Busch, to score the win on Sunday night / Monday morning at "The Lady In Black."

-The racing this past weekend at Darlington was - in a word - fantastic.  Our crew discusses why.

-Jimmie Johnson needs some good luck, and he needs it fast if he's going to make the Playoffs.

-NASCAR's annual "Throwback Weekend" continues to be one of the biggest happenings on the circuit.

-We preview the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series cutoff race at Indianapolis.
