HOMER – Banks County did all of its scoring in the first half and held on in the second half to beat Franklin County 15-7 at home.
Shawn Hall put the Leopards on the board first with a one-yard run that capped a 55-yard scoring march with 4:01 to go in the first quarter.
In the second half, Sawyer Pace tacked on the Leopards second and last score of the night with a one-yard dash. Erwin Durmic scampered in for the two-point conversion.
Franklin County’s lone touchdown came with 3 seconds left in the third quarter when Simon Burger rushed in from four yards out.
