GAINESVILLE — Jim Foote shot a 2-under par 70 to win the 2019 City Senior Title by two shots over Ricky Brown on Sunday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.
Foote's 70 followed an opening round 71. Brown fired two-day total of 1-under 143 to take second place. Walter Hope won the net division with a 2-under par total of 142.
Rob Boetz fired a second round 75 (153) to make up a five-shot deficit and win the Medal Flight. Scott Head finished second with a 36-hole total of 157. John Payne was the net winner with a 10-under par 134.
Karl Simon won the Super Senior event. Karl’s 36 hole total was 3-over par 147, good for a four-shot victory over 2018 champion Mike Smith (151). Doug Glidden was the Super Senior Flight 1 net winner at 5-under par 139.
Doug Tomsu (163) came from two shots back to win the Super Senior 2nd Flight by two strokes over John Christmas (165). Bryan Bell was the 2nd Flight net winner at 5-under par 139.
