GAINESVILLE — North Hall took the lead early and never looked back in a 24-14 scrimmage win over Gainesville at City Park Friday night.

North Hall's JT Fair added a big highlight with a 95-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter to pace the Trojans ground game all night.

Luke Volle also added another highlight on the defensive side of the ball for the Trojans when he picked off a Gionni Williams' pass and scampered 40 yards to paydirt late in the second quarter.

For Gainesville, JD Brooks and freshman Xavier Stephens both scored rushing touchdowns.

Gainesville will host Mary Persons on Friday. The game can be heard on FM 94.5 & AM 1240 The Lake. North Hall will travel to rival Chestatee on Friday. The game will be broadcast live on FM 102.9 WDUN.
