Plans for a hotel and shopping center in the Rabbittown area, tabled several weeks ago, are now on indefinitely hold, while plans are moving ahead for other commercial developments around Hall County.

The planning commission was scheduled to hear the request for the shopping center/hotel when it meets Monday.  But, according to the agenda for the meeting, "this application will be tabled to a date to be determined."

Another previously tabled matter, rezoning for 74.38 acres at Ridge and Friendship roads where a shopping center and 132-lot subdivision are planned, is still expected to be considered by the board.

New business on the agenda includes a "rural business and equestrian center" on Holly Springs Road near Three Bridges Road and an agri-entertainment complex on Ransom Free Road near Divine Lane.

The planning board meets at 5:15 at the Hall County Government Center.
