*Rabun Gap visual arts teacher and Director of The Studio at Rabun Gap Terri Manoogian spent some time this summer at the Georgia Film Academy learning the ins and outs of professional filmmaking. The teacher training program was a two-week session held at Pinewood Studios in Atlanta and helps teachers prepare students to go into the film industry.

*The Georgia Mountains Regional Commission Career Coach will visit Cumming August 8. It will be at the Cumming Library from 10:00-2:00. Experts will be on hand to help job seekers search for and apply for jobs, write resumes and cover letters, discern their career interests, and learn about funding available for training. There is no charge.
